It was of utmost importance to the Berlin design studio to do the history and significance of the building justice. Being the first building on site and the meeting place of such great political figures as Adenauer, Kohl, Kennedy, Nixon and Elisabeth II. of England, the history of Königshof deserves special attention.

The rooms in the two worlds of colour – gold and ice blue – are an elegant interplay of individually designed furniture, table and ceiling lights, soft carpets, exquisite fabrics, as well as bed covers and space-enhancing elements such as illuminated headboards or the TV panels. The new interior gives the rooms a pleasant generosity. Seating islands consisting of hand-made chairs and especially designed end tables with light tulip legs and glass tops with matching colours invite the guests to linger.
The grey contours of crème-coloured wardrobes and bedside tables add a graphic-modern touch and charming contrasts. The elegant bathrooms in gentle nature colours with large-scale faux virgin stone tiles match the designs of the rooms. The floor-level shower, an extended mirrored area, premium sanitary equipment and classy accessories provide the guest with maximum convenience.
The original art pieces by various artists complete the successful interior design of the new rooms of the hotel on the Rhine. Striking photo overpaintings, pen-and-ink drawings and graphics let the guest immerse into distant worlds.
